Jane Depper's life revolves around her love for music, especially the piano. Raised in a musical family, she fell in love with music at a young age. Her musical journey began in 2006 when she started taking piano lessons. Little did she know that this would lead to a lifelong commitment to music.
In 2008, Jane became a student of Tatyana Bayliyeva, the founder of the Albuquerque Institute of Music. Under Bayliyeva's guidance, Jane's piano skills flourished. She worked hard and achieved significant milestones in her musical journey.
Jane doesn't just focus on her own growth; she also believes in giving back. She is an active member of two prestigious music organizations: the Music Teachers National Association and the Zia Club Federation. These groups allow her to connect with fellow musicians and educators, share her knowledge, and contribute to the musical community.
Teaching music is Jane's passion. She is currently working towards a music teacher certification, demonstrating her commitment to becoming an outstanding music educator. She continues to study piano under the guidance of Tatyana Bayliyeva and explores Piano Pedagogy with Irina Gorin, a renowned author in music education. Jane's goal is to achieve a Trinity Piano Certification, showcasing her dedication to excellence in teaching.
Jane's journey into teaching music is remarkable, given her previous career in the medical field. Her decision to follow her passion is a testament to her determination to live a life aligned with her true calling.
Outside of music, Jane enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband and son. They also share their home with two black labrador dogs, Owen and Clementine. Jane finds joy in outdoor activities like tennis, hiking, skiing, and exploring nature.
