In two years, Joe has taken 3 RCM exams and received First Class Honors all three times!

2022 JMYAC Winners Performing with New Mexico Philharmonic
Our student, Gabriel Higbie, the 2022 Jackie McGehee Young Artists’ Competition First-Place Winner in Piano, performed with the New Mexico Philharmonic Roberto Minczuk, conducting at the Sky Room Amphitheater at Campus Park. He did a wonderful job and a great crowd to support him! Congratulations, Gabriel!
Royal Sound Music Competition
Both Daniel and Sean Choi won the Grand Prize in two separate categories at the Royal Sound Music Competition! Together they won the Grand Prize in the Advanced Ensemble Competition! Daniel also took home First Place in the Piano Competition.
National Music Week Writing and Drawing Competition Winners

Vocal Artistry Art Song Festival
We are so excited to have so many of our vocal and piano students participate in the festival this year! The studio's awesome owner, Tatyana, and our fantastic voice instructor, Melissa, also performed in the festival! Students who performed were: Cara Depauli, Eliza Sumner, David Fu, Kate Shao, Hannah Leng, Lily Shevits, Peter Jakiche, Jack Yu. Great job!

21st Century Talents
Ashmi participate in 21st Century Talents and was placed 3rd in her age group! Way to go Ashmi!
Jackie McGehee Young Artists' Competition
Gabriel won 1st place at the Jackie McGehee Young Artists' Competition and received a cash prize of $2,500 and an opportunity to perform the winning solo with the New Mexico Philharmonic, plus other performance possibilities.
Sophia Zhang placed 2nd in the Piano portion of the the competition on Friday, 11 February 2022 and was was presented with a cash award of $1,500.
