2020 US New Star Etude Competition
Tatyana’s student, Jane Wei participated in an international competition in California. Jane competed in Group IV, and won 3rd Prize! This was the most difficult competition they’ve held so far, and they received applicants from 6 countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Australia, and several states within the U.S.
Elena Cobb Star Prize Winners Festival -London
Daniel & Sean Choi and Lilly Shevitz were invited to perform at the prestigious Albert Hall on April 4th.

Congratulations to Rhea Fan and Karen Zhang who performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City on May 11th, 2019. Rhea and Karen were invited to perform at Carnegie because of their audition for the Golden Key Music Festival . Young Artists Competition
We would like to congratulate all our students who took part in the Jackie McGehee Young Artists Competition this past Saturday, February 16th. Each one of you performed your concertos wonderfully! A special congratulations to Jane Wei for placing 1st. Along with the $2000 cash prize, Jane will be performing with the New Mexico Philharmonic on May 25th, 2019. At this Symphony Concerto Performance, she will be playing Chopin's Concerto in E Minor, 1st Movement. Gabriel Higbie was the youngest participant at age 13 and won 3rd place and $750 for his performance of Beethoven's Concerto #1, III Rondo. Josh Shevitz received the title of "most promising musician" and a $150 prize for his beautiful performance of Bach's Concerto in D Minor. Excellent job to everybody who competed, we are so proud of you all!
