Cheyenne Chambellan-Belmontes grew up in Albuquerque. After graduating high school she attended New Mexico State University. Initially studying biology, Mrs. Chambellan-Belmontes could not resist the call to study music; she graduated with a BA in Music Education and a Minor in Biology. While studying, Mrs. Chambellan-Belmontes taught piano lessons. Upon graduating Mrs. Chambellan-Belmontes worked with Deming Public Schools as the Music Educational Assistant, where she specialized in teaching beginning to advanced violin for the Mariachi Department. After eventful experiences with Deming Public Schools, it was time to return home to Albuquerque. 

While not teaching, Mrs. Chambellan-Belmontes enjoys watching movies, video games, going to museums, bioparks, and spending time with her two cats.
