Megan

Saxophone/Flute/Clarinet/Beginner Guitar

 

Megan is an accomplished saxophonist and dedicated music educator. She grew up in central Washington and earned her bachelor’s degree in music education with a focus on instrumental instruction from Washington State University. Her pursuit of excellence led her to Albuquerque, where she obtained a Master’s of Music from the University of New Mexico, also achieving a Graduate Certificate in Music Performance.

During her time at UNM, Megan had the privilege of studying with renowned professors, including Dr. Ashley Kelly, Glenn Kostur, and Dr. Eric Lau. Megan’s commitment to music education was evident through her valuable contribution as a graduate assistant in music appreciation. 

Currently, Megan is making an impact as an elementary music teacher for Albuquerque Public Schools, where she instills her passion for music in young minds. She firmly believes in the power of music to enrich the lives of young people and is excited to extend her teaching expertise into the world of private music instruction. Megan’s journey is a testament to her dedication to music and her mission to inspire the next generation of musicians.
